What is Haikyuu!! about?

Shoyo Hinata, a boy who loves volleyball, decides to form a team to compete in the interscholastic, however he is extremely defeated by Tobio Kageyama's team. At entering high school, Hinata decides to join Karasuno and the volleyball team to someday take revenge on Kageyama but, to his surprise, Kageyama is also on the team. This two rivals form an awesome team with which they looking to win the national championship,

I want to talk about Nekoma Highschool, first of all beacuse its my favorite team and it has my favorite characters of the anime.

Nicknamed as"the Cats" Nekoma is a Highschool/team situated in Japan, Tokyo. Conformed by nine players, the team can be described as a powerful team due to the players flexibility and abilities, solid receptions, intelligence, estrategies and team work.

Their most relevant characters are Kuroo Tetsurou (Captain and central blocker) and Kenma Kozume (Setter), are both excelent in his role. Kuroo more as a captain is a leader, he cares about the whole team and games. Kenma is such a good player, he has an extraordinary mental ability, who makes him unique in his team and whats he do. Another character with great relevance is Lev Haiba It's a student of Russian origin with a prodigious stature, who immediately interacts with the members of the Karasuno. An excellent volleyball hitter for being a principiant.

Why you should whatch Haikyuu?

It Complies with all the guidelines that an anime belonging to the sports - school genre may have, makes competence with another animes with their most strongest points: 

1) Charismatic characters who not only stand out individually, also in the interaction between them.

2) Insert the story in a pleasant environment with a great comic level.

3) All this without aparting the sports section and making it something amazing, getting excited in the execution of volleyball matches.

In Conclution, the story is simple but well done, managed to stand out on its own and position itself as a recommendation that I would make of the genre to anyone.
